Watch As Brian Creates Pure Magic
At The Verdala Palace
On the 11th and 12th of May, Verdala Palace opened its doors to a world of fantasy and magic for thousands of families during the event ‘Mel darba… Fil-Kastel’ (meaning ‘Once upon a time…In the Castle”, which was organised by the Community Chest Fund, under the patronage of the President of the Republic Of Malta, H.E Dr. George Ablea who together with his wife were present throughout the event. Verdala Palace is the President of the Republic of Malta’s official summer residence and is truly a mystical and magical place and everyone was grateful that H.E. opened the venue allowing people to experience something so rare and unique. Brian was entrusted to create a Harry Potter Themed Magic Show in Malta as a main attraction in the main hall of the exquisite palace.
However, and in spite of the palaces’s natural and magical beauty, the whole palace was transformed into a world of imagination and fantasy, welcoming children into a dream like fairy tale. Sleeping beauty, the three little pigs and many other well known fairy tales occupied its grand rooms and chambers but the main attraction proved to be ‘Snape’s Magic’ in the grand chamber where the Harry Potter Themed Magic Show in Malta was held. Although expected to be popular, an unexpected number of people, in the thousands, flocked to experience the magic and the castle, creating long queues waiting to step into the magical kingdom to watch Professor Snape (Brian Role`) conjure up his magic which left people amazed and wowed at what was displayed before them. Professor Snape promises to return in the near future to give more of his magic for those who couldn’t make it or were not lucky enough to see it this time!
An extended thank you goes out to all the coordinators, the light and visual designers, organisers and the various helpers as well as everyone else who made this event successful including Lourdes C Palmer who took care of the technical aspect during the shows performed throughout the event. Triple the amount of shows expected, were actually performed and we thank all those people who made it on the day.
